Parfums Caron

Caron ad, 1944

Parfums Caron was a Parisian perfume house established in 1906 by Ernest Daltroff. During the first three decades of the 20th century, Caron created some of their most legendary fragrances, including “”Tabac Blond,” “Pour un Homme,” and “Fleurs de Rocaille.” The company is still in business today, with two boutiques in Paris.

Caron Christmas ad, 1953. It uses the same theme as the 1944 ad of perfume bottles in place of candles, but note how the illustration is more stylized than the one from 1944.
