Madame AmbassadorPosted: November 18, 2011
Last year I blogged about Tree Hut’s fabulous but sadly, discontinued Foaming Face Wash. Because I was a fan of the brand, I volunteered for and was chosen to be a Tree Hut Ambassador. The company sends me new products to try in exchange for my honest opinion. Recently, the company sent me a full-sized tube of their new Vanilla and Spice Olive and Shea Extra Rich Moisturizing Lotion to review.
The Vanilla and Spice Olive and Shea Extra Rich Moisturizing Lotion uses the shea butter that is the company’s signature ingredient, but it also includes olive oil. Both of these moisturizing ingredients are certified organic. The Vanilla and Spice Olive and Shea Extra Rich Moisturizing Lotion lives up to its name in combatting dry skin, particularly now with the cold weather, and the drying effects of indoor heating. And I love the Vanilla Spice fragrance. I know other companies have their take on a vanilla-spicy fragrance, and Tree Hut’s is just as good as other vanilla spice lines I’ve tried.
Vanilla Spice is one of Tree Hut’s new fragrance lines, joining their extremely popular Coconut Lime, Shea, Almond & Honey, Brazilian Nut, and Hawaiian Kukui lines. Tree Hut has also introduced the calming Lavender and Chamomile line. All of Tree Hut’s fragrances are available in a body wash, body lotion, body butter, and body scrub. Tree Hut has really increased their retail presence in the past year or so. Prestigious beauty retailer Ulta carries their line, as does drugstore.com.
