Viva GagaPosted: February 11, 2010
I caught Cyndi Lauper’s and Lady Gaga’s appearance on The Today Show yesterday. The pop divas are the spokepeople for MAC Cosmetic’s Viva Glam VII lipstick. Established in 1994, Viva Glam lipsticks were created to raise money for AIDS research. RuPaul was the first spokemodel, representing the gay community that was the most at risk for the disease. Today, the statistics have changed. Women between the ages of 19 to 26 and 48 to 60 are now the groups most affected by AIDS. Cyndi and Gaga represent those age groups. Viva Glam VII is $14, with 100% of proceeds going toward AIDS research. It’s available at www.maccosmetics.com or at MAC counters nationwide.
